Merle opened Morford's Home Center in 1977, at 202 West 2nd Street, which is currently the Bean Broker. In 1987, he moved to 139 W 3rd Street. Morford's Decorating Center moved to 132 W 3rd Street, in 1995, where Merle spent the next 18 years. Today, Morford's Decorating Center, Inc is located in the old Bomgaar's building, at 1250 W 6th Street. We moved to expand to this location in the summer of 2013. The building went through an extensive remodel before we moved in.
Morford's Decorating Center is family owned and operated. Over the years, Merle and John have grown their business to employ approximately 15 people! Morford's has been providing the area with a vast selection of residential and commercial flooring. Plus, Benjamin Moore paint, Brewster wallpaper, and Graber window coverings.

Our team consists of six highly experienced installers, each skilled in specific areas. All of our installers are proficient in luxury vinyl tile/plank (LVT/LVP) installation. Hoss and Kenji specialize in residential carpet and sheet vinyl installation. Tyler and Ethan are experts in ceramic and porcelain tile installation. Ben and Karston focus on ceramic and porcelain tile, as well as hardwood floor refinishing.
